Abstract:

This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of online learning in improving students' academic performance. The study used a quantitative research design and collected data from 100 students who participated in online learning programs. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The findings revealed that online learning has a significant positive effect on students' academic performance. The study concludes that online learning can be an effective tool for improving students' academic performance.

Introduction:

Online learning has become increasingly popular in recent years due to its flexibility and convenience. With the advancement of technology, students can now access educational resources from anywhere and at any time. However, the effectiveness of online learning in improving students' academic performance has been a subject of debate. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of online learning in improving students' academic performance.

Procedure:

The study used a quantitative research design and collected data from 100 students who participated in online learning programs. The data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire that was distributed to the participants. The questionnaire contained questions on the participants' academic performance before and after participating in online learning programs. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics.

Findings:

The findings revealed that online learning has a significant positive effect on students' academic performance. The mean score of students' academic performance after participating in online learning programs was significantly higher than the mean score before participating in online learning programs. The results of the inferential statistics showed that there was a significant difference between the mean scores of students' academic performance before and after participating in online learning programs.

Conclusion:

The study concludes that online learning can be an effective tool for improving students' academic performance. The findings of the study support the notion that online learning can provide students with access to educational resources and opportunities that they may not have had otherwise. The study recommends that educational institutions should continue to embrace online learning and incorporate it into their curriculums.

Recommendations:

Based on the findings of the study, the following recommendations are made:

  1. Educational institutions should continue to embrace online learning and incorporate it into their curriculums.

  2. Students should be encouraged to participate in online learning programs to improve their academic performance.

  3. Educational institutions should provide adequate support and resources to students who participate in online learning programs.

  4. Further research should be conducted to investigate the effectiveness of online learning in different contexts and with different populations.
