SH3RF2 Overexpression in Ovarian Cancer Predicts Platinum Resistance
Analysis of data from the GEPIA and GEO databases reveals significant overexpression of SH3RF2 in ovarian cancer tumor tissues (n = 426) compared to adjacent normal tissues (n = 426). This difference in expression is statistically significant (P < 0.05), suggesting a potential role of SH3RF2 in ovarian cancer development. Furthermore, SH3RF2 expression levels are elevated in platinum-resistant A2780 cells compared to platinum-sensitive ovarian cancer cells, indicating a possible association between SH3RF2 overexpression and platinum resistance in ovarian cancer.
