Container Temperature Analysis: Maintaining Contractual Requirements Throughout Voyage

To gain a clear understanding of the temperature fluctuations during the voyage, a comprehensive temperature chart was created. This chart illustrates the temperature variations over time, providing valuable insights into the temperature management of the container.

Upon analyzing the chart, it becomes evident that the supply temperature, which represents the temperature at which cooled air is supplied to the container, consistently remained at the set point of 13.5℃ for the majority of the voyage. This indicates effective functioning of the cooling system in maintaining the desired temperature.

The return temperature, which reflects the temperature of the air exiting the container after circulating through the cargo, also remained within the acceptable range of 12.5℃ – 14℃ for most of the journey. However, it is worth noting that the return temperature deviated slightly from this range during the initial stage of the voyage. This discrepancy is suspected to be a result of the cargo's initial temperature, suggesting that the cargo may not have been pre-cooled to the optimal temperature before loading.

Despite this initial variation, the overall temperature trend demonstrates that the temperature inside the container remained within the contractual requirements throughout the entire voyage. This successful temperature management ensures the quality and integrity of the cargo throughout its journey.
