Seawater Discharge Incident at Caofeidian Anchorage on August 3, 2023

We have received information from the Maritime Bureau regarding a seawater discharge incident that occurred on August 3, 2023, at approximately 1450 hrs. While the subject vessel was sailing at Caofeidian anchorage, our crew was cleaning the hatch cover and deck using seawater. Regrettably, the water inadvertently flowed into the sea from the starboard side stern. The incident was witnessed by the crew of a nearby vessel, who promptly documented the event through photos and videos and reported it to the Maritime Safety Administration (MSA) using their real names. We are cooperating fully with the MSA's investigation into this matter.
