Joint Survey Findings: Rust Damage and Cargo Disposal at Receiver's Factory

Please kindly note that the surveyor attended the joint survey at the receiver's factory on August 4th. During the on-site inspection, it was observed that the receiver identified various cargoes with different degrees of rust marks on the surface. The receiver expressed concerns about the negative impact of moisture on the cargoes, emphasizing that it significantly reduces their service life and stability. Additionally, the receiver stated that the presence of rust marks on the cargo surface renders them unusable according to the factory's internal regulations. As a result, the receiver plans to temporarily seal these cargoes and arrange for their disposal at a designated facility at a later time. The schedule for disposal has not yet been determined.

However, it should be noted that the receiver did not provide any relevant technical specifications or conduct performance experiments to support their claim regarding the shortened lifespan and compromised stability of the cargoes.
