Analyzing Regional Disparities in Commercial Attractiveness: A Trend Analysis of China's Cities

Regional divisions based solely on geographical proximity often overlook the significant economic development disparities that exist between cities within the same region. To address this limitation, this study analyzes the 'China City Commercial Attraction Ranking in 2020', considering the level of urban development as a key factor. Figure 2 presents an average trend chart derived from this ranking, providing insights into the varying levels of commercial attractiveness across Chinese cities.
