Impact of Regional Factors on the Financial Performance of Chinese A-share Listed Companies

This study examines the relationship between regional factors and the financial performance of Chinese A-share listed companies. The sample comprises A-share listed companies in China, and the study period spans from January 1, 2011, to December 31, 2019. Data on regional control variables were collected from the China Urban Statistical Yearbook. Other data, including basic company information, financial data, and market transaction data, were sourced from the CSMAR and Wind databases.
