The Impact of Regional Factors on Chinese A-Share Listed Companies' Performance: Evidence from 2011-2019

This research examines the impact of regional factors on the performance of Chinese A-share listed companies. Our sample consists of A-share listed companies during the period from January 1, 2011, to December 31, 2019. Data on regional control variables are collected from the China Urban Statistical Yearbook. We obtain other necessary data, including basic company information, financial data, and market transaction data, from both the CSMAR and Wind databases.
