Securing Tractor Trucks on Ships: Lashing Procedures and Configurations

Upon completion of loading tractor trucks, C-rings were fixed on the side frames. For the cargo stowed next to the side bulkhead, the tractor trucks were secured on C-rings using two lines of lashing belts with a capacity of 10T in either the 'spray' or 'cross' direction. Additionally, all tractor trucks were connected using two lines of lashing belts with a capacity of 10T in the 'cross' direction. In cases where the tractor truck was stowed longitudinally, the cargo was lashed together with other cargoes using eight lines of lashing belts with a capacity of 10T (two lines in the 'cross' direction for each). Furthermore, each tractor truck was connected to steel pipes stowed below the cargoes using two lines of lashing belts in the 'spray' direction.
