MicroRNAs (miRNAs) play crucial roles in regulating the biological functions of synaptic plasticity and neurogenesis. Furthermore, they are implicated in the development of neurodegenerative diseases (30–34). In patients with AD, the levels of miR-26b, miR-34, and miR-125b are significantly elevated in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and plasma, while miR-9, miR-29a, and miR-106 exhibit decreased expression.
