1. Cargo Description: Container EITU1842706 holds 48 pallets of Angular Contact Ball Bearings, arranged in 3 layers of 2 rows (8 columns each), totaling 960 pieces (320 pieces/carton).

2. Packaging: Each pallet contains double-layer corrugated cardboard cartons. Inside, the bearings are individually sealed in plastic bags, then packed in small cardboard boxes, further protected by corrugated paperboard within the carton.

3. Damage Observed: Three pallets located near the container door (directly below a suspected point of water ingress) show damp and deformed cardboard packaging. The S/N test on the wet packaging yielded a negative result. The remaining cargo's outer packaging appears intact.

4. Internal Damage: Inspection of the affected cartons revealed damp and deformed inner cardboard boxes. Water droplets or traces were found on some plastic bags, and some bearings exhibit surface oxidation.

5. Inspection and Sorting: The cargo underwent inspection and sorting at the consignee's QC department. Observation was limited to outside the workshop. The consignee reports 648 pieces as intact. The remaining 312 pieces require further machine inspection due to potential packaging or water damage.
