SH-SY5Y Cell Line as a Model for Alzheimer's Disease Research
This study utilized the SH-SY5Y cell line, an immortalized human neuroblastoma cell line, as a cellular model. To construct a cell model of Alzheimer's disease (AD), we induced the cells with Aβ. This approach allowed us to examine the effects of Aβ on neuronal cells and to investigate potential therapeutic targets for AD.
