miR-137-5p Attenuates Aβ1-42 Induced Neurotoxicity by Targeting USP30: A Potential Therapeutic Target for Alzheimer's Disease
Our study demonstrated that Aβ1-42 treatment significantly downregulated miR-137-5p and upregulated USP30 in cortical neurons and SH-SY5Y cells. Furthermore, miR-137-5p attenuated Aβ1-42 induced neurotoxicity through targeting USP30 in SH-SY5Y cells, shedding light on the molecular mechanism of miR-137 underlying Aβ-induced neurotoxicity. These findings suggest that miR-137 could be used as a potential therapeutic target for the treatment of AD.
