Discrepancies in Health Perception Between General and Cancer-Specific Scales: A Case Study

At T0, 25 patients reported being completely healthy using the 5L scale. However, 17 of these individuals did not report being completely healthy in the C10D scale, as indicated in the latter half of Table 3, highlighting their varying choices. The data from the table reveals that even patients who reported no problems using the 5L scale can still exhibit issues when assessed using the cancer-specific C10D scale, particularly in the domains of Physical (76.5%), Social (58.8%), and Fatigue (58.8%).
