Global Dimming and its Impact on Crop Production in China: A Focus on the Sichuan Basin

In the past few decades, there has been a global decline in solar radiation events, as reported by Wild et al. (2005) and He et al. (2018). This phenomenon, known as 'global dimming', has emerged as a significant threat to crop production in China, as highlighted by Shao et al. (2020). In particular, the Sichuan basin has been observed to experience the adverse effects of 'global dimming', as noted by Jiang et al. (2022) and Liu et al. (2023).
