Katharine Hepburn of "The Philadelphia Story.") Her Emma is a bit of a meddler, but she's also well-meaning and genuinely cares for those around her. When she falls in love with the charming but reserved Mr. Knightley (Jeremy Northam), it's both delightful and touching. The supporting cast is also excellent, including a scene-stealing turn by Toni Collette as the hapless Harriet. Overall, "Emma" is a lovely and entertaining adaptation of Austen's novel, perfect for fans of period romance and classic comedy
