METHODS OF INSTRUCTION:Lectures, tutorials, problem-solving sessions, and computer-based assignments will be used to facilitate learning. Students are expected to actively participate in class discussions, ask questions, and seek clarification when necessary. Assignments, quizzes, and exams will be used to assess students' progress and understanding of the course material.

TEXTBOOK:Calculus, Early Transcendentals, by James Stewart, 8th edition, Cengage Learning. Other recommended textbooks and online resources will be provided.

GRADING POLICY:Grading will be based on a combination of assignments, quizzes, exams, and participation. The breakdown of grades is as follows:Assignments and/or quizzes: 20%Midterm exam: 30%Final exam: 50%Attendance and participation: 5% (bonus)
