elt that the pictures would help students to understand the meaning of the words better. I also designed some group activities to enhance students’ understanding and application of the new words. During the teaching process, I found that the pictures really helped the students to remember the words and to use them in their writing. The group activities also promoted students’ cooperation and communication skills. However, I also found that I need to improve my time management skills, as I ran out of time for the last part of the lesson. In future, I need to be more aware of the time and adjust my teaching according to the time available.

Ⅱ Classroom management

During the lesson, I tried to create a positive and interactive atmosphere in the classroom. I encouraged the students to participate in the activities and to express their opinions. I also tried to be flexible in my teaching and adapted to the students’ needs. However, I need to improve my classroom management skills in terms of discipline. There were some students who were not focused and disrupted the lesson. In future, I need to establish clear rules and expectations for the students and to be more consistent in enforcing them.

Ⅲ Assessment

During the lesson, I used a variety of assessment methods, such as observation, group activities, and individual writing tasks. I also provided feedback to the students on their performance and gave them suggestions for improvement. However, I need to improve my assessment skills by providing more specific and detailed feedback, and by using more diverse assessment methods to cater to different learning styles.

Overall, I feel that this competition was a valuable experience for me. It gave me the opportunity to reflect on my teaching practices and to learn from others. I will continue to improve my teaching skills and strive to provide the best possible learning experience for my students
