This article focuses on the task offloading decision-making in a single-server, single-user network system model. Firstly, the development status and major problems faced by mobile cloud computing are introduced, and mobile edge computing is introduced with its basic concepts and advantages. Then, the application scenarios of this technology in the vehicle network are briefly described, and the existing difficulties in making offloading decisions for mobile edge computing in the vehicle network are pointed out. To solve this problem, a single-server, single-user system model is proposed, and the user's task is decomposed into multiple sub-tasks. The energy consumption of the mobile vehicle device is taken as the constraint condition, and the user's delay is taken as the objective function. A suboptimal offloading scheme is proposed through analysis, and its feasibility is verified through simulation, which can effectively reduce delay and improve user experience
