Design Drawing of Battery CabinetN/A3 Purpose of TestThe purpose of this test is to verify that the MGE Galaxy PW UPS has been installed correctly and is functioning properly. This test will also ensure that the UPS is capable of providing uninterrupted power supply to the connected loads.4 Instruments and ToolsThe following instruments and tools are required for the test:1. Multimeter2. Clamp meter3. Oscilloscope4. IR thermometer5. Torque wrench6. Screwdriver7. Insulation resistance tester8. Load bank (if necessary)9. Ensure that the UPS has been installed according to the manufacturer's instructions.2. Check the connections of the input and output power, battery, and communication cables.3. The input and output power cables are connected properly.3. The battery cables are connected properly.4. The communication cables are connected properly.5. The UPS is properly grounded.7.3 Energizing PreparationBefore energizing the UPS, verify the following:1. The bypass switch is in the "Normal" position.2. The emergency off switch is in the "Off" position.3. The maintenance bypass switch is in the "Normal" position.4. All equipment connected to the UPS is turned off.5. The UPS batteries are fully charged.6. The UPS is in standby mode.7.
