According to the thin dotted line in Fig. 4, the exchange current density of Al dissolution (i_(0,Al/Al^(3+))) and oxygen reduction on 316L SS (i_(0,O2/OH-)) in this galvanic system can be calculated by extending the anodic part of Al alloy and the cathodic part of 316L SS to the equilibrium potential of their respective reactions.
