With the popularity of the Internet, spam emails have become an unavoidable part of our daily lives. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes a spam email filtering system based on the Bayesian algorithm. Firstly, a Bayesian classifier model that can identify spam emails is established by analyzing a large amount of email data. Then, the model is applied to actual data sets, and after testing, the accuracy of the system reaches over 95%. Finally, the system is optimized to have higher performance and better scalability. The research results of this paper can provide reference for the improvement of spam email filtering technology
