Step 1:Warm-up

Greeting: Hello, everyone! Good morning/afternoon!

Sing a song: Let’s sing the song “Hello, How Are You?”.

Show a picture of a monkey and ask: What is this? Students answer: Monkey.

Teacher asks: Do you know what sound the monkey makes? Students answer: Ooh ooh aah aah.

Play a video of the monkey sound.
Step 2: Presentation

Show the pictures of the monkey, elephant, lion, giraffe, and zebra and teach the students the new words.

Use the PPT and show the pictures of the animals and the words. Ask the students to repeat after the teacher.

Show the video of the animals and their sounds.

Step 3: Practice

Use the PPT and show the sentence “I am a monkey”. Ask the students to repeat after the teacher.

教学反思:
本节课教学内容较为简单,但是对于小学三年级的学生来说,这些单词和句型都是全新的,需要通过适当的形式进行学习和巩固。在教学过程中,我通过图片、视频、游戏等多种形式来帮助学生学习和记忆单词和句型,同时也培养了学生的口语表达能力和听力理解能力。在教学过程中,我注意到一些学生的发音不够准确,需要在后续的教学中加强训练。通过本节课的教学,我认为学生对单词和句型的掌握程度较好,同时也非常喜欢参与课堂互动,希望今后的教学能够更好地满足他们的需求和兴趣
