Since the establishment of the People's Republic of China, the country has made significant progress and development in politics, economy, and culture, which can largely be attributed to its vast population. However, with the advent of an aging society, ensuring the quality of life for the elderly has become an urgent issue that needs to be addressed. The rapid development of information technology has provided a new solution through the implementation of intelligent elderly care services. Nevertheless, there are still many challenges and issues that need to be addressed in the development of such services.

This paper aims to expound on the achievements of smart aged care services in Luoyang City. Through the distribution of questionnaires and interviews with various stakeholders, we investigated the current state of smart elderly care services in the city. Our analysis of the results revealed several problems, including the lack of unified service standards, low acceptance of smart pension products, inadequate training of professional personnel, and insufficient social investment.

Based on our research and the successful experiences of other countries, we propose several suggestions for optimizing the smart pension service in Luoyang City. These include the government taking a leading role in promoting standardized development, multi-party cooperation to establish a new concept of smart pension, optimizing the construction of professional personnel, and increasing social investment to improve the supply of services.
