Low Echogenic Plaque with Luminal Stenosis in Right Carotid Artery: An Ultrasound Case Report
During a routine ultrasound examination, a plaque exhibiting slightly low echogenicity was identified at the origin of the right carotid artery. This plaque was observed to cause luminal stenosis. Furthermore, a suspicious area of low echogenicity was detected at the distal end of the plaque, characterized by slight oscillation synchronous with arterial pulsation.
