Jingtang Port Vessel Arrival Update: Draft Survey Completed, Discharging Delayed

Regarding the matter at hand, we would like to inform you that the said vessel arrived at #15 berth of Jingtang port at approximately 1705hrs this afternoon. However, it was reported that one of the crew members had red pimples on their face, which unfortunately restricted our embarkation due to the ongoing pandemic.

Despite this setback, we were able to conduct the initial draft survey with the assistance of the crew from 1730hrs to 2030hrs on the same day. Based on the deductible liquids quantity and sea density provided by the C/O, and the vessel's constant of about 300MT declared by the C/O, we estimated that the total quantity of cargo stowed on board was approximately 65,799.42 MT, which was 314.78 MT (0.48%) more than the B/L figures (65,484.64 MT). The chief officer's draft survey figure was almost identical to ours.

It was reported by the crew that a customs officer had attended on board for the draft survey, but they did not leave any report on board and only verbally confirmed that the cargo quantity was sufficient based on the vessel's constant of 300MT. We have also been informed that the customs officer is currently on board examining the crew, and as a result, discharging operations have not yet commenced.

We will maintain communication with the crew and attend the final draft survey in a timely manner.
