Cargo Quantity Verification: Discrepancy Found in Draft Survey

The Customs officers performed an independent draft survey on the vessel, but did not furnish a written report. They confirmed verbally that the cargo quantity was satisfactory, relying on the vessel's constant of 300MT. Nevertheless, they did provide draft readings orally, which allowed us to estimate that their figure should be approximately 65,651.77 MT. This is roughly 167.13 MT (0.255%) higher than the B/L figures of 65,484.64 MT.
