WCM Board Report: Analysis of African Mining Project Risks and Recommendations

As members of the board of WCM, we have carefully considered the options available to us regarding the African mining project. Each of us conducted research into the mining industry in the African country and evaluated the risks involved.

Director 1 reported on the political risks associated with the project, highlighting the recent instability in the government and the potential for regulatory changes. Director 4 discussed the environmental risks, including the impact on local communities and the potential for legal action. Director 2 focused on the economic risks, such as fluctuations in commodity prices and the potential for currency devaluation. Director 5 addressed the operational risks, such as infrastructure challenges and security concerns. Finally, Director 3 presented on the social risks, including the potential for labor disputes and the need for community engagement.

After discussing each risk, we joined with the other groups to come to a final decision. While we recognized the potential benefits of the project, we ultimately agreed that the risks were too high for the time being. We did not see eye to eye on whether to continue negotiations with ATZ, but we ultimately decided to hold off until the risks could be further mitigated.

In a nutshell, we believe that it is important for WCM to prioritize risk management and responsible mining practices. We take delight in the potential for growth and expansion, but we must do so in a way that is sustainable and ethical. What's more, we must be transparent with our stakeholders and consider their perspectives when making decisions.

Regarding the prospectus, we recommend including information about the African project but being clear about the risks involved. This will allow potential investors to make informed decisions about whether to invest in our company. And so forth, we believe that by prioritizing risk management and responsible mining practices, we can position WCM for long-term success.
