Wind Turbine Blade Inspection Reveals Scratches on Root After Initial Damage
After disassembling a wind turbine blade on July 29th, further damage was discovered in addition to the previously identified bending and dents reported on July 28th. Noticeable scratches were observed on the contact surface between the blade root and the hub. As a result of these findings, the blades were transported to a repair shop for further maintenance and repair.
