Inspectors went to the dock on the 27th and 28th to inspect the goods. The condition of the cargo pile remains the same and is still stored in the D1 yard. It is surrounded by flood protection sandbags and covered with protective nets. No fuel traces were found externally. However, when the dust cover was lifted, fuel seepage was still visible at the bottom of the cargo pile. According to the dock's information, they are closely monitoring the condition of the cargo pile. The rate of fuel seepage is relatively slow, and they are currently cleaning up the seeped fuel at regular intervals. The pollutants are temporarily collected and placed in pollution collection buckets near the cargo pile. The dock has not disclosed the next step in the handling plan for the goods, only stating that they are still in further negotiations with the consignee.
