High Moisture Content Investigation: Cargo's Natural Property, Not Transportation Issue
Possible reasons for the high moisture content could include the introduction of foreign water during transportation, as well as the naturally high moisture content of the cargo itself. However, upon conducting an on-site inspection, we found no evidence to suggest that the goods had been exposed to foreign water. The following evidence supports our findings:
-
The packaging of the goods was intact and showed no signs of damage or leakage. This indicates that no water could have entered the packaging during transportation.
-
The surrounding environment where the goods were stored was dry and well-maintained. There were no signs of water leakage or excessive humidity in the storage area.
-
The moisture content of the cargo was consistent throughout, suggesting that the moisture was evenly distributed and not a result of external factors such as water exposure during transportation.
-
The moisture content of similar cargos from previous shipments was also found to be high, indicating that the cargo itself naturally has a high moisture content.
Based on these findings, we conclude that the high moisture content is likely due to the inherent nature of the cargo rather than external factors such as foreign water exposure during transportation.
