2S Fuel Tank Repair: Ventilation and Cleaning in Progress

The manhole cover of the 2S fuel tank was opened at 1430hrs. However, due to safety concerns, workers are currently unable to enter the work area. Ventilation is required to ensure a safe environment, and this process will take some time. The repair team has informed us that they will begin by using a dirty oil receiving ship to extract the remaining oil from the tank. After this, they will proceed with manual cleaning. The cleaning process is expected to take around 4 to 5 days. As for the repair plan, the team intends to discuss and finalize it on-site with the surveyor tomorrow.
