Cargo Hold Oil Film Found During Inspection - Potential Bilge Contamination

After unloading, we conducted a thorough inspection of the cargo hold and discovered a thin layer of oil film measuring less than 1 cm on the bottom plate. Additionally, some of the bulkheads were found to be contaminated with fuel. Notably, the oil film near the rear of the cargo hold was slightly thicker, measuring approximately 3 cm. In order to prevent any oil contamination in the bilge, we plan to inspect the internal condition of the cargo hold after conducting preliminary cleaning.
