Ship Deck and Hull Oil Pollution Clean-up in Progress - Preventing Sea Contamination

According to the weather forecast, rain is expected tonight. In order to prevent deck oil pollution from contaminating the sea, we have made a request to the dock to promptly clean the deck and hull oil pollution. At approximately 12:30 PM, dock personnel arrived at the ship to initiate the cleaning process for the deck and hull oil pollution. The contaminated substances on the deck, as well as any spilled cargo, were carefully placed in woven bags and transported to the shore. The cleaning workers are currently in the process of meticulously cleaning the hull oil pollution using a lifting platform. Meanwhile, considering the close proximity of the contaminated cargo storage yard to the dock, we have repeatedly reminded the dock to exercise caution in preventing oil pollution from entering the sea through rainwater.
