P&I Surveyor Requesting Documents for Damage Investigation

I am the P&I surveyor representing the shipowner and I am writing to express my interest in the following documents in order to investigate the cause and extent of the damage and to protect the owner's interests:

1. Certificate of compliance for the carriage of solid cargoes
2. Engine Logbook for the incident day
3. Deck logbook during the time at port
4. Stevedore damage report
5. Sounding record of bunker tank before and after the incident
6. Oil record book
7. Port log
8. Witness report
9. Cargo ship safety construction certificate
10. Ship class certificate (including thickness measurement report)
11. Hold cleanliness certificate
12. General arrangement plan
13. Drawing of the damaged area
14. Bill of lading, mate's receipt, shipper declaration
15. Stowage plan
16. Discharging sequence
