Further to the aforementioned matter, we would like to inform you that our surveyor, along with the sub-charterer's surveyor Mr. Shao and TENCO's surveyor Mr. Li, attended the vessel on Aug 19, at approximately 1420hrs.

Upon boarding the vessel, we conducted interviews with the Captain and Chief Officer in the ship's office. We were informed that they had joined the vessel after the incident voyage. However, they had inspected the cargo hold condition on May 8, 2023, and identified a total of 92 damages across all cargo holds.

We have also collected various documents pertaining to the incident voyage, including photos, the Letter of Protest, and the stevedore damage report. However, due to the large amount of cargo still present in the cargo hold, some damages may not be visible at this stage.

On the morning of August 20, we will reattend the vessel, accompanied by a technician from the repair team, to assess the extent of the damages.

Furthermore, the estimated time of completion (ETC) for the subject vessel is the night of August 20, with an expected arrival at Yantai Anchorage on the morning of August 21. According to the representative of the repair team, the repair work may commence on August 22, as they require some time to complete the necessary formalities and prepare the materials and spares.

As per our initial instructions, our surveyor will be present during the repair work at Yantai Anchorage.

If you have any further instructions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.
