Patient with Headache, Cold Symptoms, and Abnormal Mental Behavior: Case Study

One day ago, the patient developed a headache after catching a cold. The headache was characterized by continuous bilateral temporal throbbing pain and was accompanied by neck stiffness and fatigue. The patient did not exhibit any abnormal mental behaviors. Initially, the patient believed that he had caught a cold and took antiviral granules, but there was no relief. Half a day ago, the patient began experiencing abnormal mental behavior. He would forget to turn off the faucet and became confused when crossing the street. Additionally, the patient experienced weakness in his left hand and occasional numbness, causing him to drop objects. Despite taking compound cold tablets, the symptoms did not improve. As a result, the patient was admitted to the neurology department of our hospital via the emergency department.
