Longer Weekends: A Nice Thought, But Would They Really Make a Difference?

I wouldn't say no to longer weekends; I mean, who doesn't like an extra day off? And if I get paid for the extra weekend day, that would be nice. But I feel like people are used to this routine of 5 days of work and 2 days of rest. It doesn't make a big difference to have longer weekends.
