Under the Master's guidance, all the fuel oil tanks were positioned at the stern of the vessel. There were no oil tanks, gray water tanks, or oil pipes in close proximity to the explosion. Furthermore, apart from the ship damage and casualties mentioned, no other harm or pollution was reported.
