Explosion on Vessel Confined to Stern, No Oil Spill or Environmental Damage

Based on the Master's advice, all the fuel oil tanks were positioned at the stern of the vessel. This strategic placement proved crucial as an explosion occurred, but thankfully, there were no oil tanks, gray water tanks, or oil pipes in close proximity to the blast. Apart from the damage to the ship and resulting casualties, no other incidents of damage or pollution have been reported.
