Do Most Chinese People Like Animals? One Person's Perspective on Pets and Allergies

While it's often said that Chinese people love animals, is it true? In my experience, a majority of Chinese people do seem quite fond of animals and many own pets. However, it's important to remember that this is a generalization, and there are definitely individuals who don't share this sentiment. Personally, I find most animals absolutely adorable! Sadly, my allergies to animal hair prevent me from experiencing the joy of pet ownership.
