Cargo Discharge Discrepancy at Port of Huanghua: Draft Survey Analysis

Based on our draft survey, a total of 64,094.15 MT of cargo was discharged from the vessel at the Port of Huanghua. This figure is 116.99 MT (0.183%) more than the Bill of Lading (B/L) figure of 63,977.16 MT.

The Chief Officer's calculations reported a total discharge of 64,090 MT, representing a difference of 112.84 MT (0.176%) from the B/L figures. The Charterer's surveyor recorded 64,089 MT, showing a 111.84 MT (0.174%) variance from the B/L figure.

This discrepancy in cargo discharge figures highlights the importance of accurate draft surveys in verifying cargo quantities upon arrival at the port. Further investigation is required to determine the cause of these discrepancies and any potential commercial impact.
