Silo Inspection Reveals Lack of Ventilation, Temperature Monitoring, and Potential Storage Violation

We conducted an on-site inspection of the silo and discovered that there was no mechanical ventilation equipment present. Furthermore, the dock personnel informed us that temperature measuring devices were not installed in the silo, and they typically rely on infrared thermometers to measure the temperature of the outer wall.

In addition, it came to our attention that silo number 12 was the first to receive goods, but to our surprise, the consignee did not prioritize the shipment of silo number 12 based on the first-in-first-out principle. It is possible that they neglected the issue with silo number 12 and only initiated the cleaning process in June. Consequently, we believe that the consignee failed to fulfill their responsibility of minimizing losses to the fullest extent possible.
