Cargo Damage Discovered Upon Devanning at Tianjin Port

A shipment delivered to Tianjin port experienced damage during the devanning process. The receiver took delivery of the container upon its arrival at the port and transported it to their warehouse, where the damage was discovered on May 20, 2023.

The receiver immediately contacted the shipper to report the damage but did not receive a response until June 20, a full month later. The shipper then advised the receiver to file a claim with the cargo underwriter.
