We have implemented remote gesture interaction with a large screen in a conference setting. A gesture recognition algorithm based on key state detection has been designed. The algorithm can accurately recognize 10 types of interaction gestures in real-time using only RGB camera data and an entry-level GPU on a laptop. The recognition accuracy for the 10 gestures is over 95% at distances of 1m to 3m and over 85% at distances of 3m to 5m.
