Enhanced APX Enzyme Activity Observed in Response to EBL Treatment Under Drought Stress

This study investigated the effects of exogenous EBL application on APX enzyme activity in drought-stressed plants. The results revealed that APX activity in the 1 m and 2 m EBL-treated groups was significantly higher compared to the drought-treated group. Notably, a maximum increase of 10% in APX activity was observed in the EBL-treated groups, indicating the potential of EBL in alleviating drought-induced oxidative stress by enhancing the antioxidant defense system.
