Salvia Miltiorrhiza Growth Experiment in Controlled Greenhouse Environment

The trial was carried out from March to November 2022 at The Engineering Research Institute of Agriculture and Forestry, Ludong University, Yantai, China (38ﾰ39'28' N, 104ﾰ 04'59' E) in a greenhouse that was fully enclosed with transparent glass. An air cooling system was installed to regulate the temperature, maintaining a 25 ﾰC (light)/18 ﾰC (dark) regime throughout the experiment. Salvia Miltiorrhiza seeds were sourced from the local traditional herbal market and were preliminarily tested for high seed vitality and germination rate.
