Land is one of the main livelihood assets for farmers, and land transfer has an important impact on their livelihood assets. Studying the impact of land transfer on farmers' livelihood assets can help us understand the economic, social, and environmental effects of land transfer, provide scientific basis for formulating land transfer policies, and promote the sustainable development of rural economy. This study explores the current status of farmers' livelihood assets, livelihood strategies, and land transfer behavior through questionnaire surveys, semi-structured interviews, and mathematical statistics, and uses binary logistic regression models to analyze the impact of land transfer on farmers' livelihood assets. The results show that: (1) the characteristics of land transfer behavior of farmers in Shawan City have certain regularity, and the characteristics of land transfer behavior have regional and individual differences, and the transfer procedures are gradually becoming standardized. (2) The impact of the number of family labor force on land transfer behavior in Shawan City is weakening. (3) Inward transfer farmers mainly choose to engage in agricultural livelihood strategies, while outward transfer farmers mainly choose to engage in non-agricultural livelihood strategies, and the current small-scale agricultural awareness is still an important factor restricting farmers' participation in non-agricultural activities. (4) Farmers who tend to engage in non-agricultural activities often have more human, financial and social capital, while those who tend to engage in agricultural activities often have more natural and material capital. Finally, based on the empirical results and research conclusions, this paper puts forward some suggestions to reduce the hidden dangers of farmers' livelihood vulnerability.
