In contrast to healthy individuals, whose muscles on both sides were similarly positioned in multi-muscle dynamical coupling, stroke patients exhibited a notable difference in muscle position. Specifically, the muscles on the unaffected side were located in more upstream positions, while those on the affected side were located in relatively downstream positions. In Figure 5, we identified the muscles that showed a difference in ranking position of five or more between the two groups of subjects.
