Amazon's reporting channel is designed for intellectual property rights owners and their agents to report alleged infringements involving copyright and trademarks. Sellers can report abuse through three options: the Public Notice Form (PNF) for non-brand owners, the Report a Violation (RaV) Tool for brand owners, and the Copyright@ email channel for anyone. To prevent false positive enforcement, the Selling Partner Service (SPS) initiated an experiment and launched the Additional Verification Review (AVR) for the copyright@amazon.com channel. The AVR team conducts an additional verification review of first-time notice submitters to confirm their validity before taking action on the notice. If the notice submitter cannot be verified, the team will request additional information, and ASINs will remain protected from continuous suppressions. However, despite partnering with CN BP and reaching out to AVR PM in Oct'22, there are currently no success metrics or visibility on the impact of the AVR initiative on the Copyright@ email channel
